Since 1966 JP Indústria Farmacêutica, is in the market of Large Volume Parenteral Solutions (LVPS), known as serums, ranked among the five most important companies in the sector in Brazil, competing with the most important international companies. In 1992, JP inaugurated a new 950 m2 facility in our Headquarters to specially produce blood collecting and transfusion bags. This new line of production represented an investment of US$ 3milion.
A new phase of JP Farmacêutica growth was the acquisition, in the 80`s, of Olidef cz Indústria e Comércio de Aparelhos Hospitalares Ltda., which currently manufactures a broad range of products for neonatology, laboratories and medical-hospital support. In 2002, Olidef’s plant was totally rebuilt to meet the Good Manufacturing Practices standards, aiming to offer excellence in product quality
In 1995 JP was the first company of the sector to be granted with the ISO 9002 Certificate and in 2003 focused all the efforts in achieving the ISO 13485 and CE Mark (European Standard) Certifications. Olidef cz was granted the CE Mark and ISO 13485 Certification in the second semester of 2004 and we continue increasing the number of certified equipments, besides the Brazilian Inmetro/NCC Certifications already achieved.
The JP Group employs about 500 people, seeking continuous improvement and quality excellence through the application of new technologies.
